Living in Google. The Location Independent Lifestyle

Most of all I love freedom. I want to be free and not to obey any limitations. One of the them I hate the most is the locality - the dependence of the place you are living at the moment. I want to be free to travel whenever and wherever I decide to go and not to be hold back by document folders, paper, heavy desktop PCs, etc. I don’t want to be location dependent.
You are location dependent if:
- Your main computer is a desktop PC or Mac.
- Your documents are put in folders in your cabinet.
- Your organizer is a 300-page notebook with dates and calendars.
- Your notes are written on countless yellow stickies.
- Your e-mail client is desktop-based.
- Your news is delivered by newspapers, I mean those made of paper.
Almost all of these problems can easily be solved by one single power. This is the power of Google.

Bad Habits Demolition Sequence

All of us follow certain patterns in our behavior. These patterns (habits, rituals) drive us all the time. There are patterns that are moving us towards our goals and work for our good and wealth. There are some also habits that are not good for us and can damage our bodies, our souls, our relationships.
As we are rational creatures, we should interrupt our bad patterns and improve and create good patterns. I am a fan of Tony Robbins’ methodology and I use his Pattern-breaking routine daily. During my practice, I have made some changes in this technology and I can tell you that it works (with or without my changes). In this post I am going to share with you my Bad Habits Demolition Sequence.

The Power of the Clean Desk

Few months ago my desk in the office looked like a big alien monster with countless sheets and pieces of paper, stickies, ten different pens and pencils, mugs, notebooks and all that stuff that piles up while you work months and years on one place.

Post-it Is the Pure Evil (if not used properly)

What is Post-it and What It Is Not?
All of us know the small yellow (or pink, or orange colored) pieces of paper that cover sometimes the whole desks, monitors and keyboards of our colleagues. I agree they are very cute, but they could be the killer of every effort for better performance. They could be a source of unlimited stress. They could remind us for important events, phone numbers, etc. But they could drive us crazy if used improperly.
Post-it has one single purpose and it is: “To temporary store short pieces of important information until it is recorded into a more secure storage!” That’s all! What the Post-it is not? The Post-it is not that “more secure storage”.
