The Three Roads to Financial Freedom
Picture: Unhindered by Talent
I believe that everyone of us in some way wants to be financially free. We don’t want to have bosses, working hours and stupid colleagues. We wish to live free, manage our own time, do what we want and when we want it.
It is easy to want to have freedom, the hard part of the equation is to achieve it. There are thousands of examples for successes and failures. Each person chases for the freedom his/her own way, but there are three main roads you can follow in order to arrive to the land of Financial Freedom. These roads are - The Rush, The Luck and The Transformation.
1. The Rush
If you start your journey this way, you need balls, you need courage and persistence. This is the hardest way. You start your own business from scratch, you fight and win, you get the gold. You have to work hard, you have to take risks, but the reward could be very, very inspiring.
2. The Luck
This is the hit-and-run way. Here you search for the chance, catch it and succeed with one (or more) lucky shots. Gambling, marriage, divorce, hot deals… If you have the luck and the sense for the exact moment, you can become financially free overnight.
3. The Transformation
The last road is the smoothest one. Here you start as a 9-5 worker with a salary and a good job. Then, step-by-step, you start to transform your way of life, mental blueprint and income sources… And one day (sooner or later) you wake up and realize that you have a side business that brings you enough money to assure your financial freedom. Then you are ready to quit your job. No risk, no hard feelings. In a day you stop being an employee and become being a free entrepreneur.

As you can guess, my way is the third one. One Job Two Salaries is the system I’ve created to lead you during your transformation from an employee to a free entrepreneur. I love the third road and I think it is the smoothest and the most harmonious one. You can learn everything about it here - http://isk.onejobtwosalaries.com/.

I am going for the transformation route. It may take longer, but I am too cautious to dive straight in and quit my job and run my website full time.
Hopefully once I take the plunge I will get some of number 2 along the way!

Yeah, the Transformation is the smoothest way. I recommend it warmly. That’s One Job Two Salaries all about.
BTW: Your site - http://www.bestshopguide.co.uk/ - is cool
Thanks very much! It’s taken me a while to do but hopefully it may make a little money.
I am trying to promote it at the moment, but progress is slow.
But then if it was easy, everyone would be doing it…
You can always go for a combination of the three. Start the transformation but keep an eye on opportunities.
@Simonne: Yeah, that’s an option, but better results could be achieved if you focus your entire energy on one of the roads. Success is almost guaranteed then.
